What treatments can I do for old self harm scars? (Photos)

Question

They're about 4 years old. Raised. I recently started using silicone sheets again after getting decent results with them in the past. They're great for concealing, especially since I live in a hotter climate now but I'd like to know my other options. Would dermabrasion work? Lasers? Or will the silicone sheets flatten them enough to where I can get a tattoo comfortably. I'm an african american 21 year old female. Thanks!

Thank you for your question.  Scars such as yours typically respond well to laser treatment.  At times additional treatments including the use of topical products and other technology-based solutions can be helpful as well.  I strongly suggest consultation with a physician who is highly experienced treatment of scars
