Swelling as part of the normal healing process and it can create contour irregularities. Sometimes it may take several months for these two completely resolved.

It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  It is difficult without an in-person examination to determine what may be taking place.  Most commonly this is residual swelling from surgery which will spontaneously resolve over the next several months but it would be important to voice your concerns to your surgeon to ensure that other issues are not taking place - discrete fluid collection, muscle laxity, or residual adipose tissue. It is unlikely to be belly fat coming back unless you have gained weight since your procedure.  I think it best to allow more time to pass before assessing your long-term result.

i dont think that its the fat coming back. Its more like fat that may have been missed with the liposuction. It is very difficult to create a smooth contour of the abdomen with liposuction. The reason for this is that the connective tissue holding the fat in place under the skin is irregular. Babies, weight gain, age, and genetics Is a big part of it. 
You may still be swollen. It can take six months to a year for the postop swelling to resolve. Remember, even Kim Kardashians abdomen is airbrushed in pictures. Discuss this with your plastic surgeon. Best Wishes

Thank you for the question and the photos!  At this point, you are likely to have some post-op swelling which will prevent you from seeing final results. Typically, it takes 2-3 weeks for most bruising and postoperative discomfort to resolve, and additional 3-6 months for swelling to completely subside. At  9 weeks post-op, it's still too early to worry about contour irregularities. Give it some time for healing process to complete and your final results to appear. 
An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon is always the best way to fully assess your needs and address your concerns. Best of luck!

Thank you for the great question and the photos. It sounds like you are concerned that there may be a seroma, or fluid collection under your skin. The best way to know exactly what is going on is to go back to be examined by your surgeon. If there is fluid under the skin, then it can easily be drained in the office. Best of luck!
