Is CoolSculpting and Cool Tone the best option for my inner thigh fat? (Photo)

you are a great candidate for liposuction plus internal heating, this will give you more Imporvement than coolsculpting or trusculpt with trusculpt flex or cooltone (I like trusculpt better).  liposuction will give you more great of an improvement quickly and long term especially If done with renuvion.
You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

Hi there! Thanks for your question. Based on your picture, it looks like you would be a great candidate for CoolSculpting. You can expect to see a 20-25% reduction in the treatment area. CoolTone may also be an option. It is not cleared for this area, but is primarily used to build and tone muscle in the abdomen, glutes, and quads. Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. CoolTone is not designed for this area, but instead is used to tone the muscles of the abdomen, buttocks and thighs. CoolSculpting is a great choice for the thighs as long as you have sufficient fat to fit into the handpiece. You are a small person and it is likely one CoolSculpting session would freeze enough fat cells to produce the desired outcome. It must be used with a Zimmer Zwave afterward to achieve maximum fat reduction in one sitting. Another option is liposuction, which is a minimally-invasive procedure that produces excellent results when performed by a very experienced, board-certified physician. This procedure removes the fat cells via micro-cannulas, using local anesthetic. The recovery period is typically just a few days and one treatment achieves full improvement. No matter which treatment you choose, make sure your doctor has the experience and expertise to ensure a safe and successful procedure.  

Fat of the inner thighs is commonly targeted with CoolSculpting.  You appear to be a good candidate for the procedure.  Liposuction is another option, but this obviously is an invasive surgical procedure.  Liposuction generally can remove more fat in a single treatment but you should be able to see improvement with CoolSculpting as well.  CoolSculpting most likely would require at least 2 treatment sessions.

You appear to be a great candidate for CoolSculpting to target the inner thigh area that is causing concern.  I would recommend 2-3 sessions per side (also known as 4 to 6 cycles).  Your final results will be most apparent 90 days after your final treatment.  CoolTone for the thighs helps to build quad muscles.  This may be of interest to you after you remove the inner thigh fat. However, often times in women, they are more concerned with reducing the size of their thighs.  I would actually recommend CoolTone more for the buttocks and abdomen.  Our practice results for those two areas has been fantastic.  Especially after tummy tuck with liposuction. 

Inner thigh fat is a common problem for many women. To top it all off is the disappointment that the women have especially when they exercise their inner thighs. But the thigh master exercise only enhances the size of the abductor Magnus muscle which makes the bulge even more prominent. If there is more fat to pinch than with other areas on the thigh then I would definitely recommend doing liposuction with a plastic surgeon who is very experienced in liposuction techniques.One and only one procedure is required for liposuction and the recovery is rather quick. Thanks for the photo!  Inner thigh fat is one of the hardest areas to reduce fat deposits so sometimes it is necessary to do something more than diet/exercise to get this to look better. Liposuction (including its cousins such as LaserLipo, BodyTite, Vaser, etc) removes the fat permanently as does CoolSculpting. One difference is that the minimally invasive approach can be customized to your area while CoolSculpting uses a handpiece so it is difficult to customize the treatment if your fat does not quite fit the shape of the handpiece. However, for me, the biggest difference is the amount of skin looseness or laxity that will be present following the treatment - CoolSculpting and liposuction do nothing to improve skin laxity while heat based minimally invasive treatments such as LaserLipo and BodyTite will help to tighten the skin, which is why I really prefer these types of treatments if there are any concerns for skin laxity. You do not mention your age, but this is frequently a consideration as to which treatment is better for a person. I would suggest that you seek consultation with a physician who is experienced in both minimally invasive and CoolSculpting treatments who can properly assess your inner thighs for fat deposits and skin laxity and can recommend the treatment that will give you the best results. Thank you for your question and posting your picture. Coolsculpting would be a fine choice for the inner thighs. Alternatively, liposuction is also a fine choice in the hands of an experienced surgeon. Each of them has their own benefits and risks but on balance it is going to come down to surgical versus non-surgical preference. This is a question that comes up often in our office. After presenting the options, I would estimate that it is roughly 50/50 for patients choosing between the two options. I would recommend an in-person consultation so that you can better understand the risks and benefits in your particular situation.I don't believe CoolTone would add to your results.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
