4 months post op and swelling from hell. Do I need a revision or just lipo? (Photo)

I am 4 months post op and lately I have been experiencing swelling out of this world. When I was 2 months post op my tummy was no way near this huge. I didn't have any lipo withy surgery. When i suck my belly in I can almost see the flatter stomach i wanted. Im not sure whether I need a revision or just lipo

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs.  Depending on your desired results or improvement there are a few options.  Fat that is below your skin and above the level of your stomach muscles can be improved with the use of liposuction.  Fat that is found deep to your abdominal muscles responds only to diet and exercise.  See your surgeon for an in-person examination, they will be able to tell you the best treatment option.

Hello and thanks for your post. The before and afters show a nice improvement and I believe the "look" you have is either due to swelling or a reflection of your current weight. Either way, avoiding revision surgery for 1 year is going to be important to let all the swelling go away. I would suspect that weight loss and exercise might also improve your overall results. Go back to your surgeon and be examined to see if you have residual fluid or internal fullness. The internal fullness is addressed with diet and could be related to food allergies.

I think that you need to be examined in person. Swelling may be all that it is, but it can also be fluid accumulation.  Best to be seen in person by your surgeon.

Thanks for your question and photos.It seems like you have received improvement from tummy tuck.Your bulge may be from intra-abdominal fat or extra-abdominal fat.Extra-abdominal fat can be removed surgically.
