Can I get a 360 Lipo and BBL if I had blood clot in the past but no clotting disorder found by my hematologist?

Your surgery would need to be performed in a hospital or out patient surgery center. Currently the centers I perform surgery at do not perform the BBL

Id recommend you to get a clearance from your hematologist. Getting into surgery can increase the risk of blood cots so, just to make sure you can get the surgery. If she/he aproves the surgery, you need to stay in observation post-surgery.

Providing that you are not on blood thinners now, you can consider BBL surgery. However, every surgery in general anesthesia carries increased risk for new blood clot and for that reason, you will need postoperative chemoprophylaxis, usually by means of lovenox, for some period of time. Unfortunately, risk of thromboembolism runs up to 3 months after surgery and there is a question whether you need chemoprophylaxis for all that time. This is something that can be coordinated between your board certified plastic surgeon and hematologist. Good luck.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, it is possible to get a liposcution after an episode of blood clots. You will need to get a clearance from your hematologist. If you’re on a course of blood thinners that are temporary then you will need to finish that course of blood thinners and be off of them for the procedure.

You should ask your hematologist if they’re willing to give you medical clearance for the procedure and ask at what time point it would be safe and appropriate to have the surgery.
