Is it a good idea to conceal FUE hair transplant scarrings with SMP (scalp micropigmentation)? (photo)

Question

I had a hair transplant 1 year ago with fue technic(3750 grafts used) , and i want to wear a buzz cut now. but this scarrings are too much at edges and at the back of my head. Is smp really effective to camouflage the white dots and does it look natural in real?

Scalp MicroPigmentation can be very effective is disguising FUE scars.  It is best to see  a doctor for a consultation.

If you want to hide your FUE scars, then SMP is a great option to do so. But be ware, there are facilities that use pigments that turn colors over time resulting in a blue or green appearance and will leave you needing to have corrective laser work  and a revision SMP session to correct it. I recommend my patients go to BRAVI in Austin, TX. The staff there have pioneered specific pigments that do not turn blue or green with time and in fact they have clients flying in from around the world to have previous SMP sessions corrected.

SMP
would be a great choice to camouflage the FUE scars.  Make sure you do your research to find a
reputable office as the dyes used for SMP are different than regular tattoo
dye.

How effect SMP can be is really a case by case basis. But generally it is one of the more effective methods to help hide FUE scarring. Consult with a doctor or several to determine what would work best for you, but based on just the picture it seems like SMP would make the most sense.

yes , micro pigmentataion really effective to camouflage those white dots and  it looks quite natural in real.  but remember that you have to remake tattooing because dye used for scalp micro pigmentation will be dissappeared in 2-3 years with phogocytosis.

This is a great idea for both camouflage of the donor area and for increasing the appearance of density in the recipient area. Do careful research beforehand for an experienced artist.  These providers have to be true artists with experience to show.  Considerations: pigment color, dot size, dot density, touch-up policies, etc etc.  Best of luck to you.
