I was so impressed by how he spent his time with me. He is dedicated to making his patients lives better and more beautiful. He is new in town but will definitely be an incredible addition to the Austin plastic surgery scene.
Not knowing the manner in which your gynecomastia surgery was done makes it difficult to give a good answer. But, it looks as though your areolas are the appropriate size. It might be possible to take a very small amount from below the areola or possibly to make an incision along the inferior border of the areola to remove a small amount of excess skin and possibly flatten it out. There are also some newer techniques to help make the areola smaller with less scarring than what an areola reduction can cause. Be sure to talk with your surgeon about your concerns. You do have a good result now and any aggressive plans for revision could easily push your result over toward a poor result. Less is more in your case.
Resuming your nutritional supplements should be fine after your ARTAS procedure. It's always good to go over your medications and supplements with your surgeon before and after your procedure to discuss the possibility of ant of them having an effect on your procedure both before and after.
Any micro needling treatment you get is more of a superficial treatment that promotes collagen production in your skin resulting in improved skin texture and often helps with acne scarring. Adding Radiofrequency like the Profound to the micro needling helps improve the effects even more. Any plumping of the face has to do with the amount of fatty tissue in your face that degrades with time resulting in a deflated appearance but that can be compensated for with fillers.
You may want to start with micro needling as a first option and progress to more aggressive treatments. Microneedling with PRP and even radio frequency micro needling can help improve the appearance of scars but having fillers done in this area is risky as it could cause necrosis of the soft tissue in the region and possibly even blindness. None of these treatments will 100% get rid of the scarring but they will help improve the appearance. Best of luck!
The amount of asymmetry you have is subtle and I would not recommend any further filler to balance it out. If you would like you can discuss with your injector if you need more time, more massaging or if you would benefit form having some of it or all of it dissolved and starting over.
