Hair shedding post FUE. Does the photo show lost hairs with grafts, or just normal hair shedding as expected post FUE? (Photo)

It is normal to lose transplanted hairs weeks after surgery.  It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out.

Yes, that is normal. Once you are past a month from your transplant, it is pretty difficult to damage your grafts- unless you have some serious physical trauma to your head they aren't going anywhere, and if they were harmed you would definitely feel/see it. Gently rubbing and having hairs fall out like that isn't a cause for concern.

İt is normal ... Transplanted graft’s hair starts to shedding in the first week of surgery and may go on untill 4-6 th weeks after surgery. İt is not surprising to lost approx.  %70-80 of all transplanted hair shafts in first month when you are washing, gently rubbing  or touching the head.New hair at transplant/recipient area starts to grow at 3-4 th month after surgery .

Shedding of the transplanted hair is perfectly normal after a hair transplant procedure and will occur anywhere from weeks 2 to 6 post op. Continue to follow your doctors post op care instructions and happy growing!

These hairs will sooner or later shed. They are never a problem for new hairs that start to grow. Usually, there is a lag time between the time the hairs shed (2-8 weeks) and the time the new hair grows (3-8 months). IF for any reason, there is an overlap between the two, pay no attention to it for when the new hair grows, the old hairs from the grafts that may persist beyond 8 weeks, will eventually shed
