I'm having lipoabdominoplasty lifting the mons and hip to hip scar. My bb will be the same and the only skin excised will be well below my bb. Lipo to the flanks and upper tummy.

Answer: Lasting results? Thanks for your question. It sounds like you are having a mini tummy tuck. If you are a good candidate and maintain an ideal weight, the results should last for years. I find very few women are truly best suited with a mini and most require a full. If that is the case, you likely won't be happy with the results. I suggest a second opinion with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Good luck!

Answer: Body contouring procedures hold up well if you can maintain your weight or lose a little weight. The procedure you ask about removes fat from the abdominal wall so that is a benefit for the long term. It is also associated with less risks than a standard tummy tuck.
