In the last couple of years, my full cheeks have started to sag. My skin has always been very stretchy since I was a kid and now I've got jowling. I don't smoke, eat well, workout regularly and don't have other problem areas. This seems to be hereditary. Happy with volume in the apples & that cheekbones are showing a bit. BUT sagging parts needs fixing. Don't want anything too invasive. thermilift is proposed. Feel like fillers etc would add even more volume and only mask the problem.
Answer: ThermiTight/Skin Tightening/High Definition procedures Thank you for your question. I recommend a combination of procedures for optimal results. ThermiTight utilizes a small electrode inserted under the skin to heat tissue to a selected therapeutic temperature. Literature has shown that elevating skin to a therapeutic temperature level can contract collagen molecules and stimulate collagen production, which may give the appearance of lifting or tightening. Fat reduction is rare, unless set to high temperatures and kept at high temperatures for a significant amount of time . To best answer your question, it depends on how much skin laxity you have. ThermiTight can work well in the thigh area to tighten skin that is mild to moderately laxity. Surgery may be a better option, if you have excessive laxity. Results with ThermiTight vary from patient to patient. You should experience some overall improvement. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Best of luck! Answer: ThermiTight From your pictures you submitted, you appear to be an excellent candidate for ThermiTight - good quality to the skin with good elasticity, minimal to moderate submental fat and no visible neck banding. That being said, you definitely need a consultation with a board certified physician experienced with the Thermi system to determine what are the best options for you.

Answer: ThermiTight for tightening and lifting of lower sagging face/jowls Fillers, indeed, are not a good treatment for the lower face if injected in the lower face. Voluma as a volumizer can help support the lower cheek by injecting the Voluma in the upper mid face around the cheek bone. Tightening procedures such as ThermiTight can help lift the jowl by treating cheek and helping lift the sagging skin. ThermiTight is a minimally invasive procedure that does not require any stitches but as a procedure that involves working underneath the skin, there is more swelling and bruising at times, than Ultherapy or Thermage or ThermiSmooth non invasive tightening procedures. The information provided in Dr. Shelton's answer is for educational purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical advice. The information provided should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultations with a qualified health professional who may be familiar with your individual medical needs.

Answer: Options for facial aging including ThermiTIGHT, fillers, lipocontouring and fat grafting Dear chipmunk55:Thanks for sharing your photos!Yes, I think ThermiTIGHT would be a wonderful option for you based on these photos. You may also use fillers in the upper cheek area as well. You should consult with a talented Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to determine if the "stretchy skin" you mention and show are a concern for your surgery. He or she may also review other options such as facial lipo-contouring and fat grafting to the cheeks. This would leave no more scars than a Thermi-TIGHT procedure.I hope this helps! Good luck!
