Does a silicone nasal bridge show up on X-ray?

In 1997, I had nasal surgery in which a silicone implant was placed on my nasal bridge. I think my septal cartilage grafts dissolved over time, only on one side and now that implant appears as a bump. I have had facial X-rays and CT scans for other reasons and I don't see the silicone implant in my nose.

During your rhinoplasty consultation, tell your plastic surgeon what your goals are. Your description of what you would like to achieve is adequate for your plastic surgeon to explain the procedure and how is is performed. Computer imaging can give you an idea of what the result would look like.

Thank you for your question. This really depends on how significant the trauma was, even if the fracture was non-displaced. At our practice, we usually recommend waiting several months before undergoing rhinoplasty, especially if it is cosmetic. The best thing to do is to have a consultation...

Hello! Thank you for your question.As far as I can see from your photo you have a hanging columella and tip of your nose thick skin.For get rid of this image I recommend you rhinoplasty surgery.It would be better face to face consultation.Best regards!
