Would liposuction be a suitable procedure for male buttocks reduction?

Liposuction of the buttock is fairly uncommon. When there is a substantial amount of fat liposuction regardless of the technique can make the skin look ptotic.

If there is fat and this is causing the large size then yes buttock reduction can be done with liposuction but it needs to be meticulous, through small cannulas, and would be best using VASER to get skin tightening and reshaping of the area properly after surgery.  You want to maintain the male look of the buttock which is more square, has a depression on the lateral aspect, and is more projected medially (middle) as opposed to females which are more round, have hip projection without dimple and are larger laterally.  I suggest only going to an buttock specialist, I do a significant number of male buttock surgeries each week.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Liposuction of the buttock region and the hips can be used to help you feel more proportionate and comfortable in clothing.  I would recommend visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon to help you deal with this concern.

Without examining you it is difficult to know what would work best for you. If the size of your butt and thighs is due to fat then liposuction is probably a good option, if it is because you are muscular then liposuction won't help. Dear, liposuction can be performed in many areas, but you have to be careful with liposuction in the buttock area, because your surgeon have to be cappable of doing also a liposculture to giving the buttocks a natural appearance. 

Lipo can be performed anywhere where you have undesirable fat.  The buttocks can be treated but requires careful planning and surgical execution to achieve good results.  Good luck

Liposuction is not commonly performed on the buttocks because it may cause premature sagging. Perhaps in some cases very conservative treatment may be helpful. Best to be seen in person.

Many plastic surgeons are hesitant to perform liposuction on the buttocks. It is not a commonly requested procedure.It's much more common for patients to ask to have gluteal enhancements.One reason liposuction in this area can be troublesome is the potential for uneven contours afterwards. The fat in this area has a lot of connective tissue or fibers. The overall shape of your underlying muscle structure and thickness of subcutaneous fat will determine if you are a candidate for this procedure or not.
