You may still be a good candidate for liposuction after having hernia repair surgeries. I would suggest scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss options. I appreciate your concerns, however previous hernia surgery is not a contraindication for liposuction, as long as the hernias have been repaired and are not still present. It is important to notify your plastic surgeon about this previous surgery and specific locations of the mesh.
