Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen deep beneath the skin, which lifts and tightens from within. And Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency to tighten skin and improve texture. It works beautifully for crepey or lax skin on the neck and jawline. These treatments can be used alone or in combination depending on your skin quality and goals.
Hello ,Thank you for your question.Given your petite frame, active lifestyle, and history of prior chin liposuction, the laxity and creasing in the neck region are likely due to skin redundancy and possible platysma muscle banding rather than excess fat. Non-invasive or minimally invasive options like radiofrequency-based skin tightening (e.g., Morpheus8, Thermage, RF microneedling) or laser treatments (e.g., Fotona, CO₂ fractional lasers) may offer improvement in skin texture and tightness. In cases where skin redundancy is more significant, minimally invasive procedures like FaceTite or MyEllevate can provide additional lift without full surgery. A personalized in-office consultation would help determine the best course based on your skin quality and goals.
Thank you for your question and for sharing your photos. In some cases, non-surgical treatments can offer subtle improvement in neck contour and skin tightening; however, based on your photos and the concerns you’ve described, a surgical approach will likely provide the most effective and long-lasting results.A comprehensive face and neck lift combined with a deep neck lift would likely offer the most significant improvement by addressing both skin laxity and deeper structural concerns such as fullness under the chin and descended platysma bands. That said, depending on your individual anatomy, a deep neck lift alone may be sufficient to achieve your desired outcome.I would recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon to evaluate your anatomy and create a personalized plan tailored to your goals.
The Endolift Laser is a unique laser that uses a thin optical fiber placed though tiny pin holes to painlessly contour fat and tighten skin from below the skin surface. PDO Threads a absorbable treads placed beneath the skin to reposition lax structures; while facial fillers replace volume loss. Bio-regenerative products will stimulate your cells to form collagen, which is what the skin is composed of. A consultation with a Plastic Surgeon who does Endolift Laser, PDO Threads and Facial Fillers will further enlighten you as to the benefits.
Hello and thank you for your question. Non-surgical options for address neck skin laxity do include microneedling and lasers. On review of you photographs, I am uncertain if either of these will provide much benefit. You may benefit from an in person consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to best address your concerns.
Thank you for your question! At our practice we offer Titan for noninvasive skin tightening. The dermis is heated with a safe infrared light causing the collagen fibers to immediately contract while preserving the epidermis through continuous cooling. This is a comfortable procedure in which a heating sensation is felt. Some people may require 2-3 treatments; however, you will notice a gentle pull of your skin. The results will not be as dramatic as a surgical neck lift.

Thank you for your question! I would recommend getting Morpheus8 done, this treatment is latest and greatest full-body, non-surgical, anti-aging tool that stimulates a serious skin-tightening process due to the addition of radio frequency technology. RF, or radio frequency, is able to address collagen and elastin production at a deeper level than just microneedling alone. The result is smoother, firmer, and more toned skin. This is a non-surgical, non invasive treatment!
Chin liposuction will remove the excess fat but will not help with skin retraction in most cases. For non-invasive treatments I would recommend radiofrequency devices, however you are likely to be more successful with a moderately invasive device such as the FaceTite device.
Hello monycee50, thank you for your question! Radiofrequency with or without microneedling can be a great non-invasive weay for tightening loose skin. It acts as a sort of shrink-wrapping for your skin! However, it is non-surgical and thus cannot produce surgical results- depending on the degree of laxity you may find you still would like more tightening, and you may wish to go more invasive. I hope this helps! Genie Alexander, RN BSN for Dr. Anna Petropoulos, MD FRCS at Center for Classic Beauty, Danvers & Boston, MA
