Liposuction indent. Will this eventually flatten out or should I be considering liposuction revision? (Photo)

Im not sure if this improve any further. usually what u see at 3 month mark is what it will be after Liposuction. its not a bad idea to wait and see but please contact your surgeon who performed the surgery in the 1st place. I specialize in Revision Liposuction surgeries. I cannot tell you how many patients I have corrected with the exact same site as you have the indentations. U can see some of the pics I have on RealSelf and the reviews of some of the patients that I have corrected for similar types of defects. 

It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Amanda,Thanks for the question and the fantastic set of photos.  You do have some concerns even though it is only 2 months post op (there will certainly be more changes over the next two months).  It looks like you still have significant fat left even after only two months and I believe the depressed area will not resolve.  You will have to give it two more months then discuss your options with your Plastic Surgeon.Best of luck with your continued healing.Dr T

Dear amandaquinn97x,Thank you for your question.  Your phots some irregular contour, however at only 2 mos out from surgery it is too early to make a final determination about the need for any revision.  Lymphatic massage is a good idea; but I recommend that you review any treatments you plabn with your surgeon.  Be patient, results usualy improve with time.  Good luck.James Sheridan, MD
