This is difficult to answer without pictures. It is possible to sculpt the waist with liposuction. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. Without photos, I can only speak in generalities. You would need the maximum of 5 liters removed from around the waist to get at least a 4 inch reduction. In some, I can get 6 inches or slightly more. This is impossible to answer without an exam. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials (education, training, experience, board certification) who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year.
