Is it possible to make my 28" waist a 23" waist with liposuction?

You can change a waist line so much with liposuction and doing it under tum. local with the smaller canulas is the best way to try to get that smaller waistline.

This is difficult to answer without pictures. It is possible to sculpt the waist with liposuction. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. Without photos, I can only speak in generalities.  You would need the maximum of 5 liters removed from around the waist to get at least a 4 inch reduction.  In some, I can get 6 inches or slightly more.  This is impossible to answer without an exam.  Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials (education, training, experience, board certification) who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results with favorable patient reviews.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Generally speaking, the most dramatic changes to the waistline come from tummy tuck and liposuction surgery.  A consultation is required to best answer your question.
