Areola Reduction with a BA?

Yes, you can have an areolaplasty and breast augmentation done at the same time. Your areolas will stretch with the implants over time, so if you are concerned about their appearance now, it would be best to have both procedures done at the same time.

Your areolas can be reduced at the time of breast augmentation.  This can be done using a circumareola technique that adjusts your areola to the size you desire.  The normal size is approximately 42 millimeters.  Unfortunately, you have not provided any photographs but you say you have no sagging.  The same approach can be used to place the implant and lift your breast, in necessary.  You are a candidate for a new technique called Breast Augmentation with Mini Ultimate Breast Lift.

If you are unhappy with the large size of your areola, it can be reduced during breast augmentation. The incision would go all the way around the nipple. the implant can be inserted through the same incision

Areola reduction at the same time as a breast augmentation, depending on how large your areola is, can lead to a modest or potentially even a significant lift.  It's hard to give you an exact answer as to how much a reduction you can have, but an in person physical exam with a Board Certified plastic surgeon, well trained in the Benelli mastopexy, can get you both the implant you want and the areola reduction you are looking for, or at least something close on both issues.

In short, the answer is "yes", you can have an areola reduction with a breast augmentation.

It is not uncommon to reduce the areolas at the same time as a breast augmentation procedure.  The procedure does not increase the overall discomfort associated with the procedure. If the nipple areolar areas are not symmetric, they can be corrected in the same way as an areolar reduction.

Yes, a breast augmentation and areolaplasty can be performed at the same time.  A permanent suture must be used in a purse-string areolaplasty to maintain the desired areola size.

If you want to reduce your areola at the time of your augmentation, be forewarned that there is a definite risk of areola spread due to the implants creating pressure on the repair.  It is important to use permanent sutures to reduce the risk of this occurring.  Be sure to ask your doctor to see his or her "before and afters "of this operation.

We rarely see the areolae stretch with implants if they are under the muscle. However, an areola reduction is frequently combined with an augmentation for a nice balanced cosmetic result.
