Why did I Lose weight day after lipo, but then gained 3 days after?

A person's weight can fluctuate considerably after liposuction or other operations not just from the tissue that was removed.  Temporary issues like fluid retention or constipation can also have an effect.  If you have any concerns I would mention them to your physician.

olive, Likely none of those weights are accurate, except the one the morning of the surgery. There are a lot of fluid shifts and fluid build-up during and after surgery, but a 15# weight loss overnight from this surgery is not likely accurate, nor is a 19# weight gain over a 2-3 day period. However, gain of 4 # of water weight after the surgery is completely believable. Liposuction generally does not remove pounds, but it can remove inches.  Fat weighs distressingly little for what seems to be a large volume, sort of like feathers. Actually a pound of fat is about as large in volume as 6 sticks of butter because fat is not as dense as butter.  Wait for the swelling to resolve over the next 2-3 and then look at the result.  The actual amount of weight lost may not be much, but it is the volume change that you are looking for.  I hope that this helps.
