I don't like the look of my nose and therefore I want to have rhinoplasty surgery when I find it appropriate. The tip of my nose is drooping down and therefore it looks bad. My main question is. Is my nose skin too thick? If so, will the thick skin negatively affect the appearance of my nose? (I also have a deviation of the septum on my nose and a crooked back, that is, on the upper part of the nose)
Answer: Rhinoplasty Dear BugrahanAcar, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from rhinoplasty. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Are you a candidate for rhinoplasty? What you need to know first Thank you for providing photos along with your question. While a droopy nose and a deviated septum are common issues that rhinoplasty can address, only a proper evaluation of your nose can determine your candidacy for surgery or if there should be any limitations to your particular surgery based on your nasal structure and skin quality. To get all the information you need, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with a strong rhinoplasty portfolio. Your surgeon can properly assess your nose, discuss your concerns and goals, recommend the best surgical approach, and help you achieve the best possible outcome.

Answer: Thick skin affect on rhinoplasty Rhinoplasty is the procedure to change the appearance of the nose. The results depend on the anatomy of the patient. Cartilage and bone can be changed by the surgeon but in general the quality of the skin cannot. Thick skinned noses can be thinned carefully but there is a limit. Rhinoplasty can certainly be performed on patients with thick skin but the patients must have realistic goals and understand the limitations. In general patients with thicker skin should not expect a thin sculpted result.

Answer: Thick skin, droopy nasal tip HiThe reason for droopy nasal tip seems to be that the lower lateral cartilages are developmentally large. Having thick skin creates some difficulties in terms of surgery, but your skin does not actually look very thick. I don't know if you have had trauma before, but there seems to be a collapse in the upper part, especially on the left side. In this case, it creates a crooked nose appearance. All of these problems can be corrected with rhinoplasty surgery. In addition, the deviation of the septum inside the nose should be corrected in surgery so that you can breathe properly. It is important that you could manage the process with a competent surgeon.Have a nice day.
