Hello, I have a Bachelorette party to attend 1 month after my surgery and a wedding to attend 2 months after surgery. Will I look thinner than I did before my surgery for these two events? (liposuction on arms, thighs, abdomen, flanks, back, neck, as well as breast lift + implants)

Answer: Swelling after lipo Most patients do notice a considerable difference within the first 3-4 weeks after surgery. There will definitely still be some level of swelling present and this is dependent on your body's own healing, your garment, and your daily diet/activity level. Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon who can give you advice on ways to speed up and optimize the recovery process. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Plastic Surgery

Answer: Post op swelling Post op swelling can last anywhere from 3-6 months so it is really impossible to say. You are planning on a lot of procedures which can also increase your swelling. Speak with your surgeon since he or she knows your case intimately. Best of luck --
