Very swollen after Restylane injected into a deep vertical lip line above my upper lip. Is this normal?

It is common to get swelling after fillers into the lips and lip lines. It is not normal to have irregularities or severe swelling. If you are unhappy you should speak to your physician and have the area injected with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that reverses the hyaluronic acid filler. It is absolutely normal to have some swelling in the lips after injecting the vertical lip lines with Restylane or other fillers.  It usually takes a few days for the swelling to completely resolve.  I would take the normal post-tx precautions like head elevation, icing, and even an anti-histamine like Benadryl to help with the swelling.  If it is worsening or if you are concerned, I would contact the doctor for their advice.  The nice thing to remember is that a HA product like Restylane is completely reversible with hyaluronidase, if you are unhappy with the results.

It is not unusual to have a swollen lip after a filler injection. This is a result of the filler itself plus minor bleeding that can occur under the skin. You just need to wait it out. This typically lasts a couple of days.
