I had a fat graft to try and correct my tuberous breast condition. The treatment failed but worst of all l lost all fat on my hips, flanks and lower abdomen leaving me with a boxy shape where before i had a very curvy shape and well balanced fat distribution. I have more loose skin now and miss my old shape very much. Could Renuva restore lost fat? I'm afraid of doing another fat graft and have relatively thin arms and legs.

Answer: Disappointed with Liposuction outcome I’m sorry you had a bad experience from your previous procedure. If you want us to make an assessment, then you need to include proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. Fat transfer is not a good procedure to correct to breast breast. In fact, breast fat transfer is not a good procedure at all for changing breast shape. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction, and or fat transfer results is more difficult Then most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery for this kind of work is quite small. I cannot emphasize the importance of provider selection for any plastic surgery operation, but especially body contouring. It may or may not be possible to improve your outcome. We can’t really tell without seeing pictures. Find the right plastic surgeon is not at all easy or straightforward. To find the right provider. I generally recommend patient have multiple in person consultations. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures for whatever procedure they are recommending. Take care notes during each consultation, especially regarding the quality and quantity of before and after pictures. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. The biggest mistake I see patients make is having only one consultation and then scheduling surgery. Revision work in regards to lip section is more difficult and primary procedures. The importance of provider selection becomes even greater for those considering revision work. It may be possible to improve your outcome and it may also be very difficult. Your situation is complex because you’ve had previous surgery. For that reason, I recommend you rely exclusively on in person consultations, avoiding all forms of virtual consultations.
