I started taking Finasteride a month ago, and now every day I have like around 15-20 hairs stuck in my hand. Every day. (it was way less before) Nobody reasons the shedding phase scientifically. Some say that the healthy hairs push out the unhealthy thin ones, but everyone knows that's not how hair work; they have their longer phases (anagen/telogen/catagen) Can somebody reason this DHT-blocker's effect? I would expect: No DHT = calming down of hair loss.

I suggest seeing a hair loss expert now to go over your condition and provide you information about your best treatment options. There are great non-invasive options like prp/progesterone and/or hair transplantation. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

My experience has been that hair loss will slow and generally some degree of regrowth will occur in situations like this where finasteride is restarted. However most men don't regain back "quite" the same density. It's usually pretty close though especially after just 4 months. Keep close follow...
