My experience has been that hair loss will slow and generally some degree of regrowth will occur in situations like this where finasteride is restarted. However most men don't regain back "quite" the same density. It's usually pretty close though especially after just 4 months. Keep close follow up with your physician.

Thank you for your question. You may regain some of the lost follicles since the fallout was so recent. You may want to find a provider who can perform PRP injections in the scalp.
