This is quite typical after an abdominoplasty especially only 6 weeks after. If course ask your surgeon specific recommendations but I usually recommend massaging the area to expedite the smoothing out process that can take up to a year.
Dear Dania2012Pleating after abdominoplasty is not unusual and often resolves over time as your skin and soft tissues stretch and re-drape. Once your result has taken form, usually at around 6 months, if there are issues with scar/pleating, then a revision of the scar may be helpful.Continue to follow your surgeons instructions and be patient.
This is common after TT surgery and usually smoothes out with time. If you still have residual pleating or a dog ear after 4-6 months, your operating surgeon can typically fix this with a minor procedure in the office. Good luck!
You are still early in the healing process and this is normal and should subside on its own. The tightness, swelling, numbness, lumpiness and hardness after a surgery like you had typically persists at least 8 weeks after the surgery then slowly goes away. In my experience, daily massage of the hard areas makes the biggest difference in getting rid of it sooner rather than later. It can easily take 4-6 months to see results. Your scars will also flatten and fade but usually takes 9-12 months. Be sure to keep any scheduled follow up appointments you have with your surgeons for his evaluation and advice. You appear to be healing well so far. Hope this helps. Dean Vistnes.

Your first step is to determine whether or not the the hernia has returned. If not you could achieve a better aesthetic result with a belly button revision which in many cases can be done under a local anesthetic. Return to your plastic surgeon for a discussion regarding...
At just two weeks post tummy tuck and liposuction, you still have a significant amount of swelling and this can make things look uneven. I would not be concerned at this point. Keep wearing the binder as this should help. But don't despair, this will probably improve...
