Had a breast lift and I feel they are way to high! I trust my Dr, but he swear they are perfectly positioned and I don’t agree. He said he will tighten underneath which will center and give me the look i want, but i feel they will still be to high. I can’t reposition them in bras they just sit there if that makes sense. Can they be lowered? I can deal with a scar above! Skin underneath will always stretch, but the top has nothing to stretch out. Should the areolas be reduced? No implants.
Answer: Are my areolas placed to high If one has undergone a left and feels that the nipple areolar complex (that is what surgeons call the nipple) is positioned too high, it is difficult to lower. Although it is possible to lower them in some cases, there could be a risk to the circulation to the nipple depending on the technique utilized for the breast lift, and it would also leave a not so small scar above the nipple. Therefore, it is very unusual for this to be performed. The more common approach would be to tighten the bottom part of the breast. It is easy to remove the skin although more difficult to raise the fold. This may require suturing and other techniques, possibly even using a sling. Significant changes can probably be made through this approach.

Answer: Nipples Actually, your nipples are probably in good position, but your breast has sagged down and make them appear high. This is an easy fix by removing excess skin and tightening your lower breast with your inferior incision.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Tokit1892, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
