How do you know if the sutures are removable or dissolvable? (photo)

I recently had gotten an open rhinoplasty and was wondering if my sutures are removable. I had gotten the gauze out yesterday and it was not very pleasant. I am getting my cast off tomorrow and it is going to be the seventh day tomorrow. I would like to know what to expect. I heard that getting the sutures isn't the best feeling in the world and I was hoping that I wouldn't need to get them removed.
