Hello there,Not all dentists can use veneers in the same way, so this is probably why you were told this. However, looking at your teeth, you appear to be a great candidate for porcelain veneers and crowns. The cost is a lot more than a temporary smile that you can snap on and snap off, but veneers can last you the rest of your life, when done properly. Good luck and I hope this helps. Dental veneers are the means to cover your front fillings and make your teeth stronger. Before veneers, your front fillings need to be evaluated for cavities, and then after the proper treatment you can have veneers done. From what I see on your smile, you have already a dental crown, or possibly a full bonding that is in different color. Proper consult with a cosmetic dentist near you is a must, since we do need to evaluate your crays and have your bite analysis done before planning for veneers or possibly a ceramic crown.
You are a great candidate for veneers. Filling don't create a barrier for veneers. However, I like to remove all of the old fillings from the teeth that I am working on before veneers, to make sure that there are no cavities under the old fillings and then proceed with the veneer preparation. You can have a great smile with porcelain veneers. Good luck.
You are a good candidate for veneers, and Fillings are not a barrier to veneers. Veneers can give you a prettier and sthetical form to your teeth and also can cover the fillings that yopu already have. You have to take care with dentist and the laboratories that they are working with. No everybody knows how to doit good.
yr dentist is right, veneers is not indicated in case with big filling , but combination of porcelain veneers and crowns [ on teeth with fillings] will give u very good result.
Your teeth appear to be great candidates for veneers. Fillings are NOT a barrier to veneers, so find a dentist with more experience to give you a new smile.
Hello there,You can certainly have a single veneer placed on that tooth. It is very important to choose the right cosmetic dentist, so that the shape, color and shade of that veneer is an exact match to your neighboring teeth. I would strongly recommend that you make sure that the dentist h...

Hello Zoey,It may be possible to adjust your veneers so that they aren't as bulky. However, because veneers are thin, only minor adjustments can be made. If you're unhappy with your veneers, I would recommend having them redone. Make sure that you are happy with the look and shade before th...

Hello there,I would recommend having your canines adjusted (filed down) to see if the issue can be solved this way. The only thing that prevents them from being adjusted too much is that your teeth may become more sensitive after being filed down. If you aren't satisfied with these results, I...
