Incision leaking after 8 days of smart lipo? (Photos)

Question

I have had smartlipo 8 days ago.I had it on my Abdomen and chest.also the sides of the abdomen.. The surgeon says he removed around 7-8 litres of fat..on one of my incisions it keeps leaking.I feal a little pain at it.I asked the surgeon he said just keep changing on the incision and put Betadine everyday.i dont know if thats an infection. Also since the day of the operation and im always feeling nausea.. I barely eat anything everyday and when i do i keep feeling im going to throw up for hours

Fluid drainage should be checked by your surgeon. If you've had a large amount of fat removed, there may be pockets of fluid that need to be emptied by the surgeon.

Continued leakage and increased nausea are both troublesome this late after your treatment, and would be best evaluated by your surgeon. Please schedule an in-person follow-up appointment and don't let your surgeon continue putting you off with phone calls. Best of luck to you.

You should follow up with surgeon at his office to be evaluated.  It is not normal to have drainage 8 days after surgery.  Something may be brewing such as an infection or it may be a fluid collection that needs to be drained.  I hope everything resolves soon.
