Hello, thank you for your question about what is the biggest size people do for Permalip. In my Beverly Hills and Las Vegas practice, approximately 95% of my patients undergo the 5 mm Permalip lip implants. Most patients do 5 mm Permalip lip implants for the top and bottom lips. This is the biggest width the company makes. Many of my patient want even bigger lip implants. I have advised the Permalip company several times that they should make bigger lip implants. However, to date, the biggest size Permalip makes is the 5 mm lip implant. I find that the 5 mm lip implant is the best way to permanently augment the lips. Permalip lip implants also reduce or eliminate the need for constant fillers. When seeking Permalip lip augmentation, please seek an experienced, board-certified, plastic surgeon in the neighborhood who has performed hundreds of permanent lip augmentations. Travel out of state if you must. If you have any more questions regarding lip augmentation, please contact my office. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen.

The length o fthe implant varies depending on your mouth size but the max length here is 6.5 cmI hope this is helpful for you KR
The sizes of the implants are 3 mm, 4 mm and 5 mm. The most common implant we use at my practice is the 4 mm implant. Best,Mehdi Sina, MD
The largest Permalip implant is 5 mm in width and 65 mm long. My experience is that the 5 mm width often works best because these are small and delicate. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person evaluation.
What you are experiencing is not unusual at 3 months post op. It takes several weeks for the lip to stretch, soften and feel normal. Discuss massage and stretching exercises with your surgeon. You should have your smile back soon.
Thank you for your question. My colleague Mr Rohit Seth and I regualr carry out these procedures and both of us have used the 5 mm implant without any major concerns. The main issue with a 5 mm implant is that you have to get used to the volume. If you are not sure then it is worth having ...
Occasionally some patients can experience some numbness or sensation change after lip implants are placed. This is typically temporary and normal sensation returns after a few weeks to months. In my experience, I have never seen permanent lip numbness from lip implants. Best of luck!
