Hello doctors! I’m 33 years old, my height is 5’4”, and I weigh 135 lbs. I had 2 kids and breastfed both of them. I’m looking to have a breast augmentation soon and would really like full but not crazy in your face boobs. Please let me know what size I should do and also high profile or moderate plus for my body type? I would like to have a full C cup look.

Answer: Implant size Implant selection is a complex process that is best done with the help of a board certified plastic surgeon. After a discussion of your goals for surgery your surgeon will take your breast measurements. This information will be combined with your goals to help determine the appropriate implant for you. If a lift is indicated, this will also be discussed. I have included a video on breast implant selection that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Mini lift with fat transfers or small implants The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers or small implants can be placed totally submuscular. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
