Usually 1 week after #gynecomastia surgery you can begin taking moderate walks or ride a stationary bike. Strenuous workouts or aerobic #exercise can begin around 4 weeks post-op. Please get approval from your doctor before you begin any workout regimen.

This is something you need to address with your surgeon. For my patients, I have them wait 4 to 6 weeks before returning to formal exercise. Good luck!

There are several technical options for the treatment of gynecomastia, and the nature of the treatment determines the time needed before it is safe to return to vigorous athletic activity.  For my patients the time ranges from 4 to 8 weeks, as determined by the method of correction and your progress with recovery.  I would recommend that you speak with your surgeon, since he or she can give the best advice.  If a patient experiences swelling upon return to athletic activity, I often recommend that he put the elastic vest back on for a few hours,  apply ice, and restrict salt in the diet.

Every patient heals differently, and certain procedures are more invasive than others.  In general, I tell patients that they can return to vigorous activity within about 6-8 weeks.  Best to ask your surgeon.

Thanks for your question but I would recommend you discuss this with your surgeon because he or she knows what was done.  Usually I recommend three weeks before increasing your activities but only as you body allows.  If you still feel pain or stiffness, then I would back off.  It is unusual to cause any damage after three weeks.

This is something you will need to ask your PS about and usually it would be about 6 to 8 weeks.  You do not want to cause unnecessary friction or shearing force after surgery as this could cause a seroma (fluid buildup) and you do not want to risk that.
