I had gyno surgery 6 weeks ago. But my chest still doesn't look flat. Asked the PS But he said he has removed all the gland and fat and what left is pec muscles and there is still swelling . It will gradually reduce. But I can fill the fullness and pinch the fat with my fingers. I think he has not removed all the fat. Should I go for revision?

Answer: Revision surgery? You should try to post better photos. But regardless of the photo quality, it hasn't been long enough to see your final result. You should wait at least 3 months for all of the swelling to resolve; some people take longer. If liposuction was performed, the remaining fat (you can't remove ALL of the fat or you'll have skin on muscle) will be thick and hard for a few months. So be patient. George Pope, MD

Answer: Revision gynecomastia Congratulations on having your procedure, but sorry to hear that you have concerns. I agree with my colleagues that it is way too early to make any judgement about the aesthetics of the result. Your swelling will resolve over months, the skin will relax, and the incisions will mature. It would be unusual to consider any kind of revision in less than 6 months to a year. Also, please consider that it is important to leave a small amount of tissue beneath the skin and a small amount of gland to prevent contour deformities and a depression beneath the nipple. Although you have not shared any preoperative pictures, your results appear natural and masculine. I would encourage you to suspend judgement for now, and make certain that you follow up regularly with your surgeon to optimize your results and discuss your concerns.
