I’m 58 yrs old, just went to get a PDO lift and the girl said I’m not a candidate because my skin is too thin and you may see the threads. She didn’t think the threads would hold at my jaw line and I might be able to see them. Keep in mind she is PDO certified NOT an MD.

Answer: PDO for thin skin It is about the quality of the skin. I assume that's what she meant. You can insert the threads deep enough so they don't show. The quality of skin is something else. It is unusual for a skin at your age to be not a candidate for threads. If it is really the case , then you might need some microneedling series and PRP to build some collagen. This will improve the quality and turgor of your skin. Threads should be an option after this rejuvenation treatment. It might take months or a year but at the end your skin's quality will be good enough to benefit from a thread lift.
