Can my skin be too thin meaning I am not a candidate for PDO thread lift?

I’m 58 yrs old, just went to get a PDO lift and the girl said I’m not a candidate because my skin is too thin and you may see the threads. She didn’t think the threads would hold at my jaw line and I might be able to see them. Keep in mind she is PDO certified NOT an MD.
