Hello, after significant weight loss I have loose skin in my armpit and near my armpit. I don’t want to get a full arm lift but wondering if I can just do the armpit area? Could this be done under local anesthesia? Thank you!

Answer: Arm lift in local anesthesia Based on the size of the area to be treated, arm lift like yours can be done in local anesthesia. In person co sultatuon or teleconference with a board certified plastic surgeon would help. Good luck.

Answer: UNDERARM SURGERY Good morning. Yes, it is possible to perform localized surgery only in the armpit area to remove excess skin, without the need for a full arm lift. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, depending on the case. It can also be combined with other treatments such as liposuction of the body or breasts to further enhance the results.
