After a full facial resurfacing, how long should I wait to wash my hair and or shower?

I realize I will not feel like it for at least a day or two. Any precautions need to be taken?

As long as you don't get your face soaking wet you can take a shower or wash your hair (better to do it over a sink with help) the next day. Ideally you don't want to wet your face until your skin has fully scabbed and not oozing anymore which could be anywhere form 1-3 days depending on how aggressive the laser treatment was. What's important is that no matter what you do, to make sure after you take a shower to pad dry your face with a clean towel and blow dry your hair to make sure moisture doesn't hang around your wounds and hydrate your wounds with vaseline or petrolatum ointment.
