CO2 Laser treatments can improve the majority of your under eye skin problems, however, it takes a very experienced physician/technician to laser the under eye safely with the appropriate settings. Aside from a CO2 treatment, I think your under eyes would benefit greatly from a TCA peel for overall skin tightening. Because you mentioned that your eye wrinkles worsen when you laugh, you may want to consider Botox treatments around the crows feet and bunny line regions that can prevent more lines from setting. Best, Dr. Anil Shah

For your facial architecture and skin type, I recommend CO2 laser resurfacing followed by filler, 2-3 months after laser. This will yield max results. I’d also recommend a skin care regimen that includes a growth factor serum and hyaluronic acid eye cream. Good luck!

Patients with wrinkles, veins, and crepey skin around the eyes can be treated with a variety of options. In some patients, surgical improvement is needed, but patients with mostly dynamic wrinkles such as those pictured here will often respond quite well to something very simple like Botox. Fractional CO2 laser can help to improve crepey skin, and in some cases, filler injections, fat transfer, or fat respositioning can be helpful to improve the under eye area. All of these need to be customized for each patient to achieve a good result.

Yes, Fraxel or Co2 can improve this. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. CO2 laser can help with the wrinkles around your eyes. Botox may also be added in some places. In addition, fillers are an option, particularly along the bone under the eye, known as the orbital rim. 

I find that using a combination of different treatment modalities works best when rejuvenating the eyes. This includes neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport for dynamic lines and wrinkles around the eyes, HA fillers like Restylane for volume loss, and skin resurfacing treatments (microneedling, fractionated ablative (i.e. CO2) and nonablative lasers) and topical skincare products to improve the quality of the periorbital skin.
