CO2 (again) or nano fat grafting in orbit area for wrinkles and crepiness? (Photo)

Question

Would a CO2 or nano fat transfer in my orbit area help with the fine lines and crepey skin? Had a CO2 done two years ago without much improvement. One of the local plastic surgeons recommended to do it again and other recommended nano fat grafting. Thank you for your time and advice!

A series of CO2 Laser treatments can improve the majority of your under eye skin problems, however, it takes a very experienced physician/technician to laser the under eye safely with the appropriate settings. Aside from a CO2 treatment, I think your under eyes would benefit greatly from a TCA peel for skin tightening. Many of my patients have loved the under eye TCA peel for the "crepey skin" reduction. The hollows of your infraorbital rim can also be volumized with injectable (hyaluronic acid-based) filler.

A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. It appears based on your concerns and photos that the issue is skin quality. Fat injections will not help with the quality of skin. Skin resurfacing treatments like microneedling, fractionated nonablative lasers (Fraxel) and fractionated ablative lasers (CO2RE) will help with the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production. I would combine the laser or microneedling treatments with good at home skincare.
