What is the recovery time for Brazilian butt lift and tummy tuck? If the Brazilian butt lift is without any complications, how long will I have to wait to get a tummy tuck? Thank you.
Answer: How much time do I need between surgeries? Depending on the procedures and how they were performed, I recommend 2-3 months between surgeries. After having a Brazilian Butt Lift I advise a minimum of 3 months before having an abdominoplasty. By then, it will be clear how much of the fat from your Brazilian Butt Lift has survived. This is also to ensure that you have healed adequately from the first procedure and have enough reserves to heal properly from the second. Lastly, it is to ensure that you are physically able to tolerate the restrictions required during the first couple of weeks after the abdominoplasty.

Answer: Tummy tuck after BBL I would wait about six months following a liposuction procedure to allow for the blood supply of the abdominal area to normalize before having a tummy tuck. Consult with a few plastic surgeons in person to be sure you are ready for your next stage.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno

Answer: How Long After BBL Can I Get a Tummy Tuck? I would wait at least two weeks to ensure that you will not be sleeping and sitting directly on your buttocks, which is what you will be doing after your tummy tuck. After a tummy tuck you will sleep wit pillows under your waist and knees to take tension off the incision. Pressure from that position and sitting can reduce the survival of some of the fat for the BBL.

Answer: TT after BBL Dear Dec.girl, most plastic surgeons would recommend you to wait 6 months between two major surgeries. That should be enough time for swelling to resolve and for you to see the final results of your surgery. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: How soon after Brazilian butt lift can I get a tummy tuck? In my opinion, the recovery for a Brazilian buttock lift is about 4 to 6 weeks to return to work. However, for the swelling to go away enough to undergo a tummy tuck, the average patient might be looking at 6 months before the second procedure. Tummy tuck and Brazilian may sometimes be combined in patients, but the risks will certainly be higher. Make sure you're seeing an experienced board certified plastic surgeon for the safest results.Good luck, Dr. ALDO
