I'm 38, had 415cc teardrop implants under muscle. My surgeon said I could bath at 3 weeks but still have scabs on my scars. Is it wise to bath still?

Although I typically allow my patients to shower the day after surgery, I like my patients to wait 4 weeks before submerging in any body of water and when all incisions are closed. Best rule of thumb, if you are unsure, ask your surgeon before doing anything. ac

I prefer that patients avoid a bath (I assume you want to stay submerged in water) until I have personally seen them and cleared them for bath or hot tub. So I guess the answer is wait til you can ask you PS. A physical exam is really needed to give you a definitive answer.
