Bellafill cannot be dissolved. Each plastic surgeon will have their own view in regards to each individual patients candidacy for various surgical procedures, including the appropriateness of facial fat transfer after having had Fillers. I suggest having in person, consultations and discuss your concerns with each provider. During each consultation, ask you to provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patient who had similar facial characteristics to your own. It’s important that you see the work of the person who is going to do with your procedure. And experience plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of preselected images, representing the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. Recognize that early fat transfer results can look very impressive, but do not in anyway represent final long-term results. After pictures should always be taking a minimum of 3 to 6 months from the date of surgery in order to be representative of final long-term outcomes. Without seeing pictures, we can’t begin to make an assessment. It sounds like your previous fillers were not for the intention of facial volume but rather acne scarring. I recommend patients have multiple in person consultations before selecting a provider for potential permanent and irreversible procedures. Facial fat, transfer can be unpredictable, imprecise, and potentially unforgiving if patients don’t like the outcome. The learning curve for facial fat transfer is long and steep.
