Airsculpt or chin lipo for double chin? (Photo)

I want to fix my double chin. My biggest concerns are 1) sagging skin once fat is removed and 2) recovery/downtime because I have a toddler to care for.

AirSculpt with Renuvion (also called AirSculpt plus for skin tightening) would be an excellent procedure for you. Since you are young you should not have loose skin. Recovery is very short (1-2 days) and you should fell nearly normal right away. I do this procedure routinely and most patients are very happy and have no pain!

Hi! Awake fat removal (liposuction) of the chin, jowls and neck are very effective for removal of the double chin and has minimal downtime. It is performed through three tiny holes (adit sites) behind the chin and below each ear to remove the fat after infiltrating numbing medicine. It can be combined with skin tightening technology (such as Renuvion) to help the skin tighten. Typically, this procedure lasts less than an hour and you can return to normal activities right away. You will need to wear a chin garment for a number of weeks.

Air sculpt is the same as chin lipo . They just use audits instead of incisions ( and fancy branding as if it’s a unique treatment )  . If you are concerned about saggy skin then Renuvion /J plasma is a great option to have done with lipo.  Skin laxity  occurs when patients have advanced age, poor skin quality or history of excessive weight loss. It’s hard to tell from photos alone and you didn’t provide a medical history or age  , but many times lipo alone is all that is required.

Almost 100% of people seeking chin and neck liposuction have a facial, skeletal imbalance with a Mandible that is smaller or lacking in projection in comparison to the Maxilla. When the mandible is insufficient in size or projection, it causes the underlying platysma muscle to drape the neck in the more oblique fashion. This is the underlying ideology or cause of having a double chin. Most people who have this condition do not have an abnormal fat distribution. Well done, Liposuction can give impressive results, especially on patients who are ideal candidates. Ideal candidates should have the best possible bone structure, good skin elasticity , and sufficient amounts of fat to have Liposuction make a significant difference. 
Delivering consistent quality, liposuction, results is more difficult than most people realize. There are major variations in outcomes depending on which provider you choose. Being board-certified in plastic surgery with years of experience does not necessarily mean that somebody has mastered Liposuction. The variation in skill and experience for Liposuction varies markedly among different providers, and patients should never assume somebody has mastered this procedure, without seeing proper evidence of competence.
Because bone structure tends to be the primary underlying cause it’s not a bad idea to consult with oral surgeons or plastic surgeons with cranial facial surgery background as well. I recommend patients of multiple in person consultations before scheduling, permanent and irreversible body or facial contouring procedures. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had the proposed procedure. An experienced providers should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Make sure providers show you as many pictures as possible of previous patients who are very similar facial characteristics to your own.
There’s no correct number of consultations necessary to find the best provider. The more consultations you have the more likely you are to find the best provider. I highly recommend patients avoid virtual consultations, and I highly recommend against traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures. Because there is so much variation in skill when it comes to Liposuction among plastic surgeons, I recommend patient start by having at least five in person consultations. Some patients may need more consultation than this. Never assume somebody has mastered this procedure without seeing sufficient quality before and after pictures of previous patients who look like you do. 
Recognize that soft tissue solutions to problems, which are fundamentally based on the facial bone structure will give a partial improvement at best. That said well done procedures on patients who are ideal candidates can get very impressive results.
Making an accurate assessment with the ability to balance all the tissue variables in this part of the face which include bone structure, subcutaneous, and Subs, litismus fat, platysma, muscle and skin laxity is complex. Considering the complexity and the significant variation in Liposuction skills among plastic surgeons Finding a provider who can make an accurate assessment and deliver predictable quality outcomes is not at all straightforward.
