Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question and for providing photos. Dermal fillers are a favorable option for enhancing facial features. Administering hyaluronic acid filler to specific areas of the face restores volume while creating a more defined contour. Dermal filler injections into the upper cheeks and along the jawline may balance your facial features and achieve the defined appearance you’re looking for, with results lasting up to a year or more. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector. They will be able to discuss your aesthetic goals with you and suggest the best treatment option.
A combination of Botox and fillers should help add definition to your facial contours. Botox to the masseter muscles can help to slim the jawline. Fillers to the cheek area can enhance facial shape. See an experienced injector near you to learn more.
It is actually quite easy to create the definitions in your face that you’re looking for. In my opinion, the best way is with the use of your own fat, which can create nicely shaped apples of the cheeks, and it can also be used to give you more chin projection for a better definition along with a better defined jaw line. Using your own fat, produces natural and permanent results as long as the procedure is done by an expert fat transfer Plastic surgeon. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
Your lower jaw is underdeveloped in width/projection. Consider a genioplasty along with jawline augmentation to define the lower face - good approach overall and for aging as well.
Sculptra stimulates your own collagen formation so its really not a filler. With the dilution being a little more and the proper post care instructions the chances of granulomas are decreased. Sculptra is a beautiful product as long as your patient. Best of luck!
Hi w.wolfz! I'm so sorry you are experiencing this. I would recommend going to a facial plastic surgeon and dissolving the filler with Hylenex.
Hi @Paoletti12345! If you aren't getting enough of a correction with dermal fillers, fat grafting may have a more dramatic effect since more volume can be used. I recommend a consultation with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
