What type of dermal fillers do I need to achieve a V-shape? (Photos)

I want to get cheek filler and jawline for a snatched look but I'm scared it's going to make my face bigger than it already is. I also wanted 1cc of chin fillers too however I was told by multiple RN injectors that I don't need chin fillers. I really want to achieve a v shape face so any advice on which dermal filler I should get is greatly appreciated!

Hi Kimytang! I agree that you don't need chin filler. I think you would benefit from buccal fat removal. A non-surgical option would be Morpheus 8 which is a radiofrequency microneedling device. You are able to tighten skin and burn fat. I hope this was helpful!

Thank you for your question and photos. A buccal lipectomy, or buccal fat pad removal, is an ideal procedure for improving cheek and jawline definition while reducing a rounded appearance in the lower part of the face. Since buccal fat tissue is not regrown, the results of this fat pad removal are permanent.
Botox may also be a viable option to slenderize the jawline and help you achieve your aesthetic goals. When injected into the masseter muscle, its size is reduced to provide a slimming effect to the lower third portion of the face. Results from Botox generally last 3-4 months. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or injector who can suggest the best course of action for you.

In the photos, you have a volumized face and in order to achieve a V shape I would recommend procedures to make your lower face defined and contoured. Some possible procedures include lower face and neck liposuction and buccal fat pad reduction. This will help make your face more V shaped.

I don't think fillers are the right approach for the aesthetic you seek. I think that a surgical approach would be necessary to yield the outcome you desire.
In the interim, you could consider Botox to the masseter muscles to narrow the lower 1/3 of your face slightly. Additionally, buccal fat pad removal would sculpt your cheeks and take away some of the rounded appearance.

There are a lot of brands and types of Hyaluronic Acid to get your goals, but first, you must have an in-person consult with a board-certified doctor in your area for a physical exam. Hello! Thanks for your photos and great question. Adding filler to the chin can help but much of what you may be seeing is cheek fullness. Options for improvement in that area would be buccal fat removal. Although the result is subtle, it can lead to an improved, more slender, frontal view. The procedure is relatively straight forward.
