I have asymmetric jaws where one side has grown longer than the other. It's noticeable to doctors and when I smile, my mouth looks slightly crooked. I'm wanting to try out fillers for a non surgical chin argumentation as I also have a weak chin and I don't want to get an implant just yet. Will getting fillers in my chin make my jaws appear more lopsided?
Answer: Fillers are great for jaw and chin Thank you for the question. Fillers are very useful for jaw and chin augmentation, because you can start with a little amount and add more if it is needed. Results are usually excellent. Make sure you see an experienced expert injector. Good luck.

Answer: Facial/Jawline Contouring -- Avoid Implants, Get Bellafill or Radiesse with Sculptra By Cannula Injection I suggest you go to a facial contouring expert who specializes in fillers and fat transfer for facial defining. Cannula injections limit side effects and give meticulous contouring. I find that radiesse is a better filler than HA fillers for this. I have patients travel from all over the world for this. Do not compromise your care for cost or distance. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Fillers for chin augmentation. If your injector is skilled and qualified to perform the injections and has expert understanding of facial balance and aesthetics, then you should enjoy a very nice result from the filling agents. You may also find it helpful to have computerized imaging done to simulate the potential results prior to having any treatment. The Vectra 3-D imaging system is a very useful tool to help patients understand how various procedures will alter their appearance prior to actually having anything done. I frequently use injectable fillers such as Juvederm to restore symmetry at the cheek, lips, jaw, chin, and other areas; and I find that patient satisfaction with this is very good. Best regards.

Answer: Fillers for the chin Thanks for your question. Without photos or an in person consultation, it is difficult to answer your question more specifically. What I will say is that if you take the time to research and select a well trained and experienced physician injector to do your treatment, it increases your chances that you can have a good outcome. With some careful planning it may be possible to augment the chin without affecting the look of the jaw. Also, fillers can be used along the jawline as well for certain indications. Best of luck to you!
