Areola reduction revision - is there any other way to change the size of the areola? (Photo)

Question

I have had an areola reduction surgery twice, but they have stretched back out both times. I followed the instructions and did not lift weight for 5 weeks, then started slowly. My surgeon put in permanent sutures both times but it doesn’t seem to work. I am very unhappy with them. Is there any other way to change the size of the areola? And could it have help to wait even longer before starting weight training? The areolas stretched over a month or two.

The areolae are the stretchy part of your chest skin. If you have a revision, permanent sutures will still be needed and you will have to avoid all lifting with your chest for 2 months.

I'm sorry you're not happy with your surgery results.  Unfortunately the risk with this procedure is that the areola can stretch out again.  If you give yourself more time before directed chest exercises you may have a better result, but it can't be guaranteed.
