Hi, I'm 37 and feel as if my neck is aging prematurely. I am naturally fair-skinned and thin, and have noticed some volume loss in the mid and lower face, resulting in a softening of a previously sharp jawline and heaviness under the chin. I'm very self-conscious about the lines and laxity in the neck, and am seeking some non-surgical options. I've had aestheticians recommend Morpheus, however I've read of side effects such as burned skin and worsened laxity following the procedure, especially for those who didn't have much fat in the face to begin with. Muscle tone in my neck has always been on the weaker side due to bad posture. Suggestions?
Answer: Morpheus Ignite / Burst for Neck rejuvenation Thanks Considerate712172 for your question! For treating early aging in the neck region, morpheus is a great choice. This cutting-edge technique tightens the skin and promotes the formation of collagen by combining radiofrequency (RF) radiation with microneedling. This may lessen the visibility of drooping skin, wrinkles, and fine lines on the neck. Morpheus works by combining two procedures: radiofrequency, which heats the tissue causing shrinkage effect and promotes the creation of collagen, and microneedling, which uses small needles to produce tiny wounds in the skin that start the body's natural healing process. Less wrinkles and fine lines, better skin texture, and tighter neck skin are the advantages of Morpheus for neck rejuvenation. All of these results come with minimal downtime and with only mild redness and swelling. After completing the Morpheus treatment package, you might want to think about getrting dermal filler if your jawline and prejawl areas basically is narrow and contains little fat. In our office we provide Morpheus Ignite Burst which is the best, most updated version of Morpheus treatment platform. The advantages include faster, and more efficient treatment with very little pain and quickest recovery. This is due to advanced technology utilized in this version of device. Morever, we have other rejuvenating procedures like RF Profound, CO2 Fractional Laser and Fractoras well as QuantumRF that give us the opportunity to individualize and personalize the best treatment option for our clients.Morpheus Ignite Burst for skin tightening. Answer: Morpheus8 Hello, Morpheus8 is a great option when considering a skin tightening treatment. Moprheus8 stimulates the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, collagen and elastin is stimulated for a more radiant, taught appearance. When performed by a licensed professional, the submental area is the only area targeted to eliminate fat. Ideally, the provider will resurface and tighten the full face and neck keeping the face plump for a more youthful appearance. With your concerns of an adverse reaction, the Morpheus8's unique technology allows all skin types and even darker tones to be treated safely. I do think Morpheus8 will be a great option to explore! Have a great day!

Answer: Ultherapy combined with Morpheus8 can help reduce appearance of unwanted fat and tighten the skin for a more defined look Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Neck Rejuvenation Treatments Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. For addressing premature aging in your neck, especially given your fair skin and thin build, non-surgical options can be effective in improving volume loss, skin laxity, and the overall appearance of the neck. Morpheus8, which combines microneedling with radiofrequency, is a popular choice for tightening and rejuvenating the skin. However, its effectiveness and safety can vary, and concerns such as skin burns or worsened laxity are important to consider, particularly for individuals with minimal facial fat. If you're wary of Morpheus8, other non-surgical treatments might be worth exploring. Dermal fillers can be strategically used to restore lost volume in the mid and lower face, which may indirectly improve the appearance of the neck by enhancing the overall facial contour. Botox can be used to address neck bands and improve muscle tone. Addressing posture with targeted exercises or physical therapy can further enhance neck appearance by strengthening muscles and improving overall alignment. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: Thank you for sharing your concerns—it's common for women in their 30s to notice early signs of aging. The neck and jawline particularly can age, if you’re naturally thin with fair skin, as these features can make changes more visible. I understand your hesitations about Morpheus8 and want to offer some clarity and alternative options to help you achieve your goals. 1. Morpheus8 Considerations Morpheus8 is an excellent option for improving skin laxity, stimulating collagen, and refining contours. However, as you noted, it’s crucial to approach it cautiously if you have little facial fat. The treatment depth and energy levels need to be customized to your anatomy to avoid unwanted effects like increased laxity or burns. When performed by an experienced provider, the risk of these complications is low, but a consultation is vital to determine if this is right for you. 2. Alternative Non-Surgical Treatments If you’re hesitant about Morpheus8, here are additional options that may address your concerns: Dermal Fillers: Strategic placement of fillers in the mid and lower face can restore lost volume, sharpen the jawline, and lift tissues, which may reduce the appearance of heaviness under the chin. Neuromodulators (e.g., Botox): A "Nefertiti Lift" can relax the platysmal bands in the neck, improving the overall contour and reducing the look of neck lines. Ultrasound-Based Tightening (Ultherapy): This uses focused ultrasound energy to tighten skin and improve elasticity, particularly in areas with minimal fat. PDO Threads: These can lift sagging tissues in the face and neck, providing a subtle, non-surgical lift that lasts for months. 3. Neck Muscle Strengthening Since you mentioned weaker neck muscles, incorporating exercises to improve neck posture and tone can complement these treatments. Techniques like neck stretches, chin tucks, and even yoga can improve overall muscle support and posture. 4. Skincare for Fair Skin Fair skin is prone to showing signs of aging earlier, so incorporating medical-grade skincare—such as retinol, peptides, and sunscreen—can help maintain elasticity and prevent further damage. I’d love to evaluate your concerns in person and create a customized plan that blends the best non-surgical options for your needs. Together, we can achieve a natural, rejuvenated look without compromising safety or comfort. 310.772.0072 Warm regards, Dr. Jennifer Berman
