Allergy to curare - Common?

Allergic reactions are quite specific.

General anesthesia can be induced without paralytic agents and without the use of this drug.
If you need surgery, then you should ask for an anesthesiology Consultation before your procedure, where you can discuss your concerns.
Most general Anastasia does not require the use of paralytic drugs. Inducing paralysis during the general anesthesia is only done for certain operations.
