Allergy to curare - Common?

I have to have a general anesthetic but I'm afraid I might be allergic to curare. Is this common?

Allergic reactions are quite specific.
There are four types of allergic reactions.
You did not describe what reaction you had or what makes you think you have an allergy to Curare.
Before going any further requires having an in-depth understanding of what gives you the belief that this allergy exists and what happened.
General anesthesia can be induced without paralytic agents and without the use of this drug.
If you need surgery, then you should ask for an anesthesiology Consultation before your procedure, where you can discuss your concerns.
Most general Anastasia does not require the use of paralytic drugs. Inducing paralysis during the general anesthesia is only done for certain operations.
