Am I a candidate for Emsculpt? I’ve had a BBL years ago but over time my butt has drooped a bit.

Hi Voluptuous one,As your name and your question implies, there is a lot to cover in answering your inquiry.  Emsculpt should lift the buttock without reducing fat.  The tone of your skin should improve as muscle tone and mass increases.  We have seen improvement of the love handle area with abdominal treatment even though the love handles were not specifically treated.  As with most non-surgical procedures, if surgery such as a tummy tuck is really indicated because of excessive skin and fat, then Emsculpt will not be an equivalent treatment.  It is best to see an expert physician for an in person consultation and examination to determine what is the best treatment (or combination of treatments) for you.  Good luck and be well.Dr. P

EMSculpt has shown promising results in lifting the buttocks. A series of treatments will be needed, as well as maintenance treatments. It will not have any effect on the skin. Another option would be a Sculptra butt lift. You would need an in-person consultation and evaluation to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for either of these treatments. Thanks for your question!Without any pictures it is hard to be 100% accurate, but it sounds like you are a good candidate for Emsculpt because you’ve had volume added with having a BBL. Emsculpt is great for improving muscle tone and so your buttock will appear a littlemore uplifted and firmer after having the Emsculpt.

Emsculpt works to contract the muscles of the buttocks 20,000 times over 30 minutes. This is the equivalent of doing 20,000 lunges. After a series of 4 treatments you should see a noticeable increase in the muscle size resulting in a butt lift. This can be combined with Sculptra for further augmentation and to improve the quality of the skin.As for the abdomen, Emsculpt will define the abs while destroying fat using a different protocol from the buttocks.
