I was planning have CO2 laser treatment for my acne scars but I've read that Exoderm lift (phenol-based chemical peel) is the most effective technique. So I can't decide. Could you compare CO2 and Exoderm lift?

A phenol peel cannot be done on neck and chest. That much phenol can be dangerous to the myocardium and in addition scaring will result. Phenol is ok about the facial area only, nowhere else. It is a great peel but only when appropriately used.
Healing depends on the depth of the peel and this is dependent on the concentration used to perform it. Usually a peel takes two weeks to resurface the treated areas and two to three months to regain its texture. The redness that follows a peel can take up to 6 months to fade....
